I missed the September meeting as I was on an RV trip with my wife and friends. We went on a 4000 mile trip to Mt. Rushmore with several stops in between. I had never been to that part of the country before and it was very interesting.
I left knowing that we had a good speaker in Neil Vanderpool, Division Dean for FresnoCity College’s Fine and Performing Arts Division. Just happens to be where my daughter teaches! I got positive feedback that his presentation was very interesting. After talking to Neil he hoped he had inspired you to attend one of their many performances.
In October we will hear about one of the most dynamic vocational programs in the valley. I don’t want to give too much away but this month’s program has given hundreds of young adults the opportunity to get good high paying jobs in our local communities. I think you will be amazed.
