My last golf outing was March 11. I will confess to swinging a club and hitting a few balls in the interim. Mostly, I have mowed fire breaks in preparation for the fire season; Pruned trees to prepare for the fire season; With the late rains we have plenty of growth, so all of it is necessary. So, if you see a recurring theme in this information…fire at our elevation is a real concern. To date I have killed three rattle snakes which got too near our house. If I find them away from the house, I let them go where they will, and I go the opposite direction…stepping carefully. I’m eager to return to a different routine and ready for our SIRS activities to resume.
