We had another nice turn out for the luncheon in March. In fact, we ate all the corned beef and cabbage plates that Pardini's prepared. Too bad for Tom Blowers. Congratulations to John Kascht for being selected as our very first member of the month. He was selected not only for his selfless work as our branch librarian but for his work helping to feed the homeless and less fortunate in Madera. He's a true role model. Our next honoree will be just as deserving so come to the luncheon and show your appreciation. We still need a lot of volunteers but Dan Lindstrom did promise to be next year's Little Sir. Way to step up. If anyone has an activity they would like to incorporate into our branch, please let me know. Of course, you will probably be asked to be it's chairman! Personally, I had some issues that effected my usually smooth performance but I can assure you all, I'm much better and April's luncheon will be really good. See you there!Lee Nichols
