I hope all of you had as much fun and enjoyment as Kopi at our October luncheon meeting. Our group was highlighted on "Great Day" and Kopi had very kind words to say about SIRS 169. He said we had a wonderful group of fun-loving guys, and he was glad to visit with some of his long time friends like Ernie Sopp. Kopi also said that he had a great time visiting with us and would someday like to return.
Our speaker for our Veteran's Day luncheon will be John Cotter, Lt. Colonel (ret) , who was stationed at the Pentagon during the 911 attack. John has had a storied military career as a jet pilot in the Air Force, stationed in multiple bases in the US, Europe and Eastern Europe. After retirement John has continued working with other Government agencies, the U.S. Navy and I.R.S. John Cotter has an extensive background in security, and since this is currently a very a hot topic, it should be well worth coming to listen to this very informational speaker at the November 8th luncheon.
